Our Story

Via Orefici is a fine jewelry brand founded in Los Angeles by Italian goldsmith Antonella Rossi. Via Orefici creates and curates fine jewelry handcrafted by skilled goldsmiths and artisan workshops in Italy for clients in the United States.

Antonella grew up in Genoa, Italy, where her father owned a jewelry boutique in the city’s historic Via Orefici district, the Goldsmiths’ Street. She trained as a goldsmith and later managed the family business, developing a deep knowledge of jewelry, materials, craftsmanship, construction, and design. Years after moving to the United States, Antonella drew on this experience and her firsthand knowledge of Italian craftsmanship to create Via Orefici.

Today, Antonella’s experience and eye shape every piece created, developed, and selected for Via Orefici. She is drawn to pieces that bring together beauty, exceptional materials, craftsmanship, and character. Jewelry that is beautifully made and gives pleasure when worn.

Behind the jewelry is the larger Via Orefici world: the bottega orafa (traditional goldsmith workshop), generations of goldsmithing knowledge and technique; and the Italian culture of beauty that has shaped Antonella’s point of view.

Through Via Orefici, she invites her clients to discover that world and an Italian way of living in which beautiful things are meant to be worn and enjoyed as part of everyday life.
