Via Orefici jewelry is handcrafted in Italy, shaped by beautiful materials, skilled craftsmanship, and an understanding of how jewelry should feel when worn.
The collection reflects the experience and point of view of founder and goldsmith Antonella Rossi. Some pieces begin with Antonella’s designs; others are developed in collaboration with the goldsmiths and artisans we work with, or selected from their work because they belong naturally within the Via Orefici world.
Different hands and different creative paths come together through one point of view: exceptional materials and craftsmanship, timeless design, and jewelry that is beautiful to feel and a pleasure to wear.
Made in Italy
The Via Orefici collection is brought to life in Italian botteghe orafe, the traditional goldsmith workshops where skilled hands and technical knowledge transform precious materials into jewelry. Depending on the piece, the work may involve lost-wax casting, hand forging, stone setting, engraving, texturing, polishing, and meticulous hand finishing.
These skills are part of a living tradition passed through generations, along with a deep understanding of precious materials, construction, proportion, finishing, and the subtle details that shape how a jewel looks, feels, and wears.
For Via Orefici, Made in Italy is not simply a statement of origin. Antonella’s experience shapes our approach and our appreciation for how the Italian goldsmith tradition brings together craftsmanship, design, precious materials, and beauty. But Italian origin alone is never enough: every piece must also embody the quality, character, and pleasure of wearing it that define a Via Orefici jewel.
Materials, Craftsmanship, Beauty
Via Orefici jewelry is created primarily in solid 18K gold and natural gemstones. There is a particular pleasure in wearing real gold, one of nature’s most precious materials, valued for its beauty, warmth, and permanence.
We look at the whole jewel: the quality and character of the materials, the proportions of the design, the construction and finishing, the setting of a stone, the balance of a piece, and how it feels against the body.
Because a beautiful jewel should not only be beautifully made. It should give pleasure when you wear it.
