The Via Orefici Journey I Our Story

Via Orefici Jewelry was founded in Los Angeles by Italian goldsmith and designer Antonella Carlevaro-Rossi, whose journey began in her family’s boutique, founded in Genoa’s historic Via Orefici area — the Goldsmiths’ Street. Rooted in this legacy, Antonella carries forward the art of Italian goldsmiths, practiced in her own workshop, with a modern vision.

After moving to New York years ago, Antonella was inspired by her own experience as a woman navigating new ways of shopping and self-expression. She reimagined how to share the craftsmanship she had learned and loved in Italy, while continuing the tradition of her jewelry boutique, envisionng pieces for confident women that blend centuries-old traditions with contemporary sophistication — designed to celebrate individuality and self-expression.

Today, Antonella designs and curates Via Orefici Jewelry, with each piece either created by her or personally chosen, then handcrafted in Italy’s botteghe orafe — traditional workshops where master artisans use techniques passed down through generations. Unlike mass-produced jewelry, every Via Orefici creation is truly handmade in limited quantities and individually finished, carrying authenticity, artistry, and soul in every detail.

The collection is shared through private appointments, curated events, and a select online edit — a vision of smart luxury, where true Italian craftsmanship is experienced with transparency and integrity.
