Jewelry, Craft, and Finding the Right Moment

A Journey Back to My Roots
Via Orefici Jewelry is rooted in the traditions of Genoa’s historic Via degli Orefici — Goldsmiths’ Street — where generations of artisans have practiced their craft. It was in this district, within my family’s boutique and workshop, that I first learned the discipline, precision, and artistry behind fine jewelry.
Over the years, my skills as a goldsmith and designer grew, shaped by a respect for heritage and a commitment to craftsmanship.
After managing the family boutique, I carried the values of Italian artisan jewelry with me when I moved abroad with my husband — first to New York, then to Los Angeles. Life abroad expanded my vision and inspired the idea of sharing handcrafted jewelry from Italian workshops with modern women who appreciate authenticity and craft.
The vision for Via Orefici remained constant: to create jewelry that unites tradition with modern sophistication. Although its launch was delayed during the pandemic, the collection was carefully refined, and today it reflects the principles that define my work — heritage, integrity, beauty, and intention.
Every summer, time in Italy renews the link to my origins. Visits to the workshops that handcraft Via Orefici designs ensure that the artistry and standards of the botteghe orafe remain at the heart of each collection.
Via Orefici stands for jewelry that is lasting and personal — handmade, rooted in tradition, and designed with care. It represents both continuity with the past and a forward-looking vision for modern women who value authenticity and craftsmanship.
It’s a new chapter I am proud to share. Thank you for being part of this journey.
